Remember Remember

Sadly the anniversary of Guy Fawkes Day seemed to go unnoticed. The only reference I say myself was the bonfire burning in front of The Odditorium.

If any of these 'orrible little conspirators try to blow up our Benevolent Dictator we'll be ready for 'em.

There are fireworks, and a bonfire on West Speirling Isle, in celebration...
... and I attended a lovely dinner party last night in which I and several friends watched "V for Vendetta", after which we chatted about governmental buildings we'd like to blow up.

What a wonderfully strange holiday...

I echo what Lady Darkling said!

The fireworks were wondrous, half the guests wearing Guy Fawkes masks was amusing, and I'm trying to pressure Kiralette into making this a Caledon tradition--occasional Happy Dances, where the point is to celebrate, but then, the guests need to decide *what*, precisely, is key to the celebration.

Last night, the decision was: Guy Fawkes Day; everyone's UnBirthday who attended; the first (hopefully NOT of many) We Survived the 1200 Sim Crash Dance; and Kiralette's Second Rez Day Celebration. :)

The matchlock musket is one of my own creations. It works but the trigger mechanism is static.
