They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
I honor the courage and sacrifice of our colleagues and friends, the forces of Australia and New Zealand. My RL day job used to have me at the Pentagon daily.. I would walk through the ANZAC Hall to get to my office. I often would gaze upon the many artifacts and displays contained therein. (To the point of getting tedious if someone was walking with me :-D )
I know we don't agree on every detail or policy, but I sincerely hope the bonds forged between our countries in WWI, WW2 and beyond never diminish.

But I think when the lives of a quarter million young men are shattered on the sands of a foreign land, it is incumbant on us to remember.
And the band played Waltzing Matilda....
*silently salutes the brave heroes*
