Doctor Who Expo Podshock Party
Once again the boys from Podshock are bringing their virtual get together into Second Life.
From 1pm SLT there will be a tour of various modded TARDIS consoles throughout the grid and then from 3:00-5:30pm your truly will be spinning some tunes for people as they chat, dance and socialise.
So come along and meet some new people are catch up with some old friends.

Colossal AVs
I didn't get much of a chance to visit Fantasy Faire so most of what I saw came via other people's blogs.
My friend Emilly posted this picture on her entry which really blew me away.

The AV was made by Ceri Quixote using the Mesh system. She'll be releasing a slightly downsized version of the AV next month.
Better yet, there's even video of her to give you a better idea of the scale:
I'm looking forward to seeing what can be done with the Colossus sized AVs. Giant Killer Robots anyone?
